Our Children and Families service specializes in helping navigate emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges in a safe, nurturing, collaborative environment. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, depression, behavioral concerns, communication difficulties, school-related stress, grief, or social/family dynamics, we help build healthy coping skills, improve self-esteem, and foster emotional regulation.

Michelle Ainsworth
(She/Her/Hers)

In person sessions with Michelle are located at Canadore College, 1 College Drive, Parry Sound. Enter through the main entrance.

Michelle is a registered social services worker in Parry Sound, Ontario with over 25 years of experience in the social services field. She offers counselling and psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan, and couples/relationships, in-person in Parry Sound, and throughout Ontario by virtual health service. Michelle holds a diploma in Social Service Work from Sheridan College and is licenced with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Michelle provides assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy and counselling, crisis intervention, case management, direct support, facilitation, mental health skills training, alcohol and substance counselling, and psychoeducation.

Sally Anderson
(She/They) OCT, MEd, MACP, RP(Qualifying)

Sally is a registered psychotherapist and qualified teacher in Parry Sound, Ontario. She offers counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals and couples/relationships in-person, and throughout Ontario by virtual health service.

Sally also provides Children and Family therapy and supports, including behavioural coaching, caregiver coaching, and school navigation and advocacy counselling. Sally has a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and a master’s degree in education. She is licenced with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Ontario College of Teachers.
